Kinky Boots at the Shoe Factory Social Club

Too old for Kinky Boots?

This week I’m going to see the gala showing of Kinky Boots at the aptly named Shoe Factory Social Club in Norwich. It got me thinking about my boot collection, which is more Komfy than Kinky.

It’s time to shake my booties up a bit; Lois, my braver alter-ego, loves a bit of fancy footwear.

I long ago decided that the phrase ‘age appropriate’ was not in my fashion lexicon. I am 54 and I will wear what I like. Though what I like is very personal to me, and completely different to what you might like.

I believe our style choices are about attitude and confidence, not age.

I also believe in dressing to my strengths, one of mine being my dinky size 3 feet, which I like drawing attention to.

So, I’m on a mission to find some fabulous boots, kinky or otherwise, which, in my book, you can wear at any age.

Here are a few I’m drooling over… Click on the pictures to find out more.
